The sounds of birds squawking rang loudly in his ears. The kind of sound that just continues to echo even after the original noise is gone. That caused a low groan and hiss from the large Paladin as he blinked gold depths against the sun. It wasn't late in the day, but it definitely was not last night either. Where the hell was he? A grunt was given as he pushed himself to a sitting position and squinted golden depths scanned the area around him. Consensus - A beach in the middle of Fuckall, Who Knew Where.

He removed his gauntlets to dust sand from himself and sighed. Seems he'd wandered here still armored. Great. The amount of silica he was retaining was probably close to his own body weight. His gaze slowly shifted to the water that was lapping gently at the earth and a peaceful look crossed his face. Perhaps this was alright. He needed a break and time to think. The stress was eating him, though, only because he was a giant ass who didn't like to share his feelings.

A roll of that golden gaze and he was slowly unstrapping armor pieces to be set in a nice pile in the sand. The thin, cloth shirt he had worn under the tin can followed and soon the Paladin was making his way into waist deep water. It was warm, so he was definitely not in Tol Barad anymore. Seriously, this bit was going to bug him.

Long fingers reached up to shake out that mane of hair and sand fell like glitter into the shining sun. A grimace was offered before he dunked his head and simply relaxed in the warm current the ocean offered.

Ashraen would definitely never drink tequila again. That shit was dangerous.
