Bayrn Lamont

Standing taller than most, BAYRN LAMONT, looks like a man that has spent his entire life doing physical work. He looks large and powerful, and he should for more than half of his the over 40 years have been spent with a sword in hand. Built sturdy and muscular he definitely looks like a prototypical warrior

His weather-worn face bears evidence of his age and experience. Lines along his brow and under his steel grey eyes are starting to appear. His mane of chestnut brown hair and thick beard are both showing the first streaks of grey. While he often has a serious expression on his face, those that watch closely might notice a quick grin.

Born ten years before the Dark Portal opened, in a small fishing community on the coast of the Island of Kul Tiras, BAYRN grew up the son of a fisherman. His early years were spent in the small village, living the normal life of a child. He always was taller and stronger than most of the kids around his age. When old enough he would go out on his father's fishing skiff to help work the lines. The Lamonts were not a rich family, but made a healthy living.

BAYRN's teenage years were chaotic. When he was 14, hiis father's skiff was caught in a gale with the two of them aboard. BAYRN washed up on the beach not far from his parent's cottage by his father nor the ship was never found. With the outbreak of the second war, BAYRN left his homeland behind as a marine and began over two decades of serving various miltary organizations in the defence of the Alliance and Azeroth.

During the Third War, BAYRN found himself as one of the soldiers that travelled with Lady Jaina Proudmoore and setting up a foothold in the contient of Kalimdor. He would serve out of THERAMORE for a number of years, patrolling the swamps that surrounded the keep, skirmishing on ships deployed from port, and training new marines.

When the LICH KING began to stir again on Northrend, BAYRN left Theramore to sign up as one of the many members of the Alliance military force. He served through that campaign, battling against the SCOURGE up to the gates of Icecrown Citadel.

Following the fall of the Lich King, BAYRN decided it was time to head home and check in on his mother back on Kul Tiras. Far too many years had passed since his last trip home, due inpart to the many threats Azeroth faced, and in part due to the fact following the third war, Kul Tiras had essentially left the Alliance. Unfortunately BAYRN never made it to Kul Tiras. Being at sea during the Cataclysm had sent the ship far off course, and changed the currents. He was lost for the next few years, before again washing up on the shore -- just in time to help battle against the invading LEGION
