Day 2
Words: Zandalar/Boralus/Invasion
Bella’s eyes rested on the gravestone for hours on end. She was desperately trying to wrap her head around the fact that he was gone, and she couldn’t help but piece together how much the two men who had been the closest men she had ever had in her life had departed this world in exactly the same way.
After having run out of tears to cry she couldn’t help but yelp out in pain and anger. She felt her blood start to boil almost literally and with clenched fists she walked off towards a clearing. Her teeth clenched as she was casting the spell to depart to the shore.
The relief showed on her face as she knew she did, in fact arrive there with all that could have gone wrong with the spell with her in such a state. Moving swiftly up the shore, the normal radiant heat that she continually has coming from off of her changed to almost an inferno. The island was as much of an invasion as it once was, but Bella was absolutely determined to eliminate as many as she was able to. And although she was reminded of feeling this same way from before, she honestly didn’t care. They had to die, right then and she didn’t care what happened afterwards.
Extending her hand and walking up to the first in a series of imps, the mage held out her hand and a small flame shot out of it towards the demon, felling it instantly. Then, as if nothing happened she would down one after another within seconds of each other. Then getting to some larger hell hounds she would spin and weave around them while shooting waves of fire magic at them until she found herself against a great number of them. Almost as if she summoned them by the trail of demon corpses behind her she growled and found herself almost dancing around as she dodged each of their attacks and finally held up her hands and started to cast a much larger spell from a slight distance behind them.
Her eyes burning with anger, the large crowd of demons were suddenly overshadowed with a rather large ball of fire, growling out in response to their sneers she screams at the top of her lungs, “Justice for Inezen!” Then she had brought down her hands and the meteor of fire came falling down on top of all of the demons that had amassed in front of her, burning them up instantly.
Taking a knee from a bit of exhaustion, she had felt the same soft hand lay on her shoulder that had back in the past when she had nearly died in dalaran. Smiling at the familiar woman, the pair had made their way out of there and away from the danger that the broken isle still was. But at long last, she didn’t feel so hollow as she had before.
