Gethinrar

Marching.

How long had he been walking? It was hard to recall. The Illidari had started his death march after he heard of the defeat of the legion. After all what purpose did he have now? 

It might of been a tad dramatic to decide to wander fighting monsters until something or someone ended him.

He was on a forest path this time when someone tried to speak with him, it was a child. Geth could remember having a fondness for them but as the little girl peppered him with questions, he had trouble remembering why.

"Why do you have horns?" Geth growled "To fight monsters."

"Why do you have fangs?" Geth responded the same "To fight monsters."

The little human girl was quiet until they both heard someone screaming for her, it was a man Geth turned to look in the direction it was coming from, he saw the girl's father: clad in ratty clothes, holding a bottle of booze and even from here, stinking like garbage.

The soldier in him told him to leave, not to care but when he saw the way the girl shrunk away from her own father's voice and the..bruises, his eye flames grew larger and hotter before he said "Wait here." The girl just looked confused before being awestruck as he propelled himself through the forest.

When he finally came upon the girl's father the drunkard looked at him and said "Why are you here freak?" Geth smiled, his fangs clearly showing "To fight a monster."

...The man didn't put up much of a fight, he was restrained in minutes, left arm broken, the other one held behind him. "Repeat it." The Illidari growled.

"I will take her to the orphanage.." 

Geth pushed harder the man screamed "I WILL BLOODY WELL TAKE HER TO THE ORPHANAGE JUST LET ME GO."

After he released the man he was stopped by the same the little girl who judging by how she was panting, ran here "Thank you for not killing him.."  

She hugged him...he did not return it.

He kept walking.
