Iyora’s body type can be summed up in one statement; she’s built like a stick. With barely any breasts to speak of and not much in the hip area, she could almost be mistaken for being an adolescent Kaldorei male aside from the fact she takes great pains to make sure one can tell at a glance she’s female by sporting a more feminine hairstyle (within Sentinel regulations), but that’s about as far as she goes (as she’s quit wearing dresses when on-duty after a close call on a mission from tripping over her own robes during a battle). Other than that she is the spitting image of her mother Priestess A’moora with her same teal hair and softly luminescent silver eyes. She also sports the mark of the Shadow upon her face to show she walks the path of the Shadow of Elune.
Iyora Silverhawk is the daughter of Priestess A’moora and the Saber-trainer Jartsam (who are not mates per se, just exceedingly good friends who decided they both wanted a kid). Born in Nordrassil, she enjoyed a carefree childhood with her father Jartsam surrounded by Sabres and occasionally being visited by her mother who was usually off on Priestess business. Iyora showed signs of Elune’s blessings early as her mother put her into the Temple of the Moon as a novice Priestess and Iyora blossomed into a dutiful and skilled healer over her many years of training. Her healing skills were put to the test when the flood of Gilnean refugees came into Darnassus and she with the other healer-Priestesses went into action, using many of their skills to try and save as many of the wounded and sick as they could. It was then Iyora realized she wanted to become a top-level healer-Priestess, one of the few that could not only heal with Elune’s might, but also heal with a blade as a surgeon. Studying hard from that point on she finally hit a snag in her training as she became restless and felt stagnated within the Temple. It was then her mentor stepped in suggesting that Iyora enlist with the Sentinels and use her healing skills where it would make a difference. Iyora meditated upon the suggestion and felt this was the path Elune wanted her to take and thus with her mentor’s guidance she wrote a letter to Commander Wintershade and was accepted into the Sentinels where she currently serves as a Guardian to her unit.
Currently she is trying to help her Sisters through their traumas in losing Teldrassil while fighting on, but she herself is still in denial about what happened and in search of a sense of self once more.
