It had been awhile since her last summons. And when Hyrdda burst forth from nothing in the gnome’s bathroom she was met with a faceful of toothpaste. Thankfully, she’d always been a bit of a black sheep amongst her kin and took the situation with a laugh.
“Its time then?” The gnome asked, regaining her composure.
“Indeed, the task has been completed. Judgement falls upon you, charge.” The ethereal voice was almost booming in the small space.
“Think you’re ready?” Pin inquired, a hopeful twinge in her voice.
She could feel the smile in Hyrdda’s voice, “as if one could ever be ready for this. I will do what i can, charge.” The valkyr reached out to take the gnome’s hand.
Taking it, the gnome’s vision darkened for a moment, only to be blinded by brilliant golden light.
