Colonel Valdiis

Valdiis ("Vel-deesh") stands tall and straight with her shoulders back and head high. Formerly ebon-skinned, this draenei has taken on a more ghastly gray tone since her death. Her face appears stiff and neutral most of the time and her tarnished white hair is a windblown mess. A thick, keloidal scar crosses her throat near her collarbone.

She smells faintly of old blood and oiled metal in her battle gear, and strongly of Dreaming Glory when she's not on the front lines. A metallic clatter accompanies her steps due to titansteel shoes on the bottoms of her hooves. The plain golden bands around her tail and tendrils appear to be stained and dented, any markings once on them long since faded or roughly buffed out. She carries a small black leather bag and its fawn-colored sibling buckled to the left side of her belt, below a length of heavily-engraved weapon chain wrapped around her waist. The end of a mithril chain is barely visible above the neckline of her armor.

- Known to have commanded the AEGIS offensive against the Horde several years ago. Rumored to have worked alongside a dwarf paladin.

- Recently seen in active training exercises and diplomatic councils with the Hand of Argus, despite numerous protests and misgivings among the draenei.

- Rumored in some Stormwind political circles to be extremely disdainful of "human politics" and council meetings.

- Among the Ebon Blade, she is known to have an easy-to-rile temper and exceptionally precise runework. Fainter rumors are that she plays knucklebones like a champion, and the faintest rumors with the very oldest of former Scourge are that she is a captured demon.
