Mission Failure

Kynnaria,

I have done as asked and searched for your loved ones, I am afraid that this letter comes with news I wish I did not have to deliver. I managed to locate the remains of both your beloved Saber and your dear friend. 

As much as it pains me to inform you of this I also wish you to know I gave them a proper burial and in time they may help the forests of Darkshore regrow.

I am sorry and pray that Elune be with you in this trying time.

The feeling of the Sabers patchy and mangled fur left the druid in tears, "I'm sure you were good and loyal to your beloved Kynnaria," she whispered to the freshly covered mound as she placed a seed in the small hole she left, her hand cupped around the dirt and with tender care she covered it too.

She stood and bowed before the memorial, "Elune, guide your spirit."

Kneeling once more at the mound beside it she repeated her personal ritual, "I have the feeling she loved you dearly, what little I heard of you...I know you cared for her too. Elune, guide your spirit, Sister."

The teal haired night elf shifted once more to her feline form, its soft blue glow emitting a comforting feel, this time she could not bring herself to rumble her soothing sound. 

Having spent much of the day dodging enemy fire and providing what search and rescue efforts she could. Xanthia's paws were worn, exhausted by the far too warm atmosphere and the broken and mangled terrain, the task of sifting through the tainted ground to lay a strangers loved ones to rest had given the Kaldorei something to do that required little to no thought.

The druid had one more soul to find, this time she hoped it would not be a search in vain.

As she left the two, she sent one final prayer to the heavens,
