The first time she had felt the wrath of her shadowy protector was when she had dared to develop a soft spot for a librarian.

The woman in question had long curly red hair and green eyes which sparkled with innocence. Colette had met her one day while wandering through the twisting book shelves of a small library in Stormwind.

The poor young librarian had ran face first into her and the two fell down, instead of yelling like most would of the girl laughed and introduced herself as "Chelsea." 

The two would meet on many occasions, bonding over books and good food. They shared a first kiss when Colette confessed her feelings to the redhead over a cup of tea. 

Unbeknownst to Cole her demonic friend had been watching this entire time and grew jealous and furious. It set forth on a path of cruel trickery to convince Chelsea to make a deal with her that if she gave herself up Cole would be free.

If Colette had been able to stop her she would have explained that the demon always found a loophole...

The next time the witch went to meet her friend she saw her love's body possessed by the demon that had followed her for most her life. Sobbing and demanding her "true love" be freed the demoness just cackled and said "What will you give?"

"Me and as many souls you wish!" The eyes of the demon's puppet narrowed and it spoke cruelly "I agree with the terms, only after you find me three hundred souls will I take yours and let your "love" be free." 

To this day, the witch is haunted whenever her demon captor appears, wearing the face of the woman she loved most.
