It had been months since the blonde paladin has stepped foot in Tol Barad. The crisp fall air tugged at the loose strands of her hair as she and Forsetti made their way towards the village.
The familiar tavern came into view as the pair rounded the corner, despite her usual feeling of home from this place Olathia couldn't help but linger on the apprehension in the pit of her stomach. Would they even recognize her? Jade eyes peered down at her new attire and a hand rested on the hilt of her new sword. Everything had changed, not just because of the war at hand, nor her still mending heart, everything seemed....odd.
Forsetti shook his mane and craned his neck to glance back at his companion upon his great back, the Captain peered ahead and patted his neck gently as he stopped outside the door, kneeling to allow her dismount. Her plate armor clattered slightly as her feet met the ground and she quickly sheathed her sworn on the winged guardian's saddle. She stood facing the entrance of the tavern, somehow unable to make the next step toward the door. A giant furry head bumped against her back urging her forward, his large glowing eyes meeting hers with a well practiced "get on with it" gaze.
She nodded, adjusting her pack and stepping through the threshold.
A loud gasp came from the bar, where a now Black haired Vynix stood, mouth agape at her entrance, a soft smile breaking across her face at him. "There's a face I haven't seen in far too long!" he grinned at her as she approached the bar.
With ease her hands spoke for her, "It's good to see you Vynix, you changed your hair again!" she gently rested her hands on the bars edge upon completion of her exchange watching him. She made note of his exhausted features, clearly the concept of taking a day for himself was still something he knew nothing about.
"Things have gone a bit natural, a lot has changed." He slid a menu to her and once more his smooth charm and friendly aura washed over her, "New menu too, what can I get for you? Say...aren't you retired?" he asked lofting a brow at her attire.
Jade orbs peered at him her hands moving again "Not exactly, medically discharged...they've asked me to take up rank again, I'm afraid." She glanced across the menu before sliding it back to him and pointing at the "Thyme will Tell" drink and some dish involving butternut squash.
Vynix set to work on her drink, sending the order to the kitchen for food as he worked, Olathia glanced around, so many new hired faces and so few of the ones who would recognize her. Glancing back as the Tavern's owner passed her finished drink to her, quickly she fished out the gold and slid it across the bar to him, "Let us know if you need anything else, and welcome home." he said winking at her, she couldn't help but roll her eyes. Vynix the charmer, always at the top of his game despite the overworking he put himself through, nearby someone cleared their throat, she turned to find a Pandaren woman with a bowl of the dish she ordered.
"I believe this is yours ma'am."
"That was fast!" she signed, before taking the offered dish and scooping up her drink, she bowed her head in respect to the Pandaren and made her way to her favorite seat.

Was nice to see this glimpse into Olathia's mind--her anxiety over her changes is clear
