It had been months since the blonde paladin has stepped foot in Tol Barad. The crisp fall air tugged at the loose strands of her hair as she and Forsetti made their way towards the village. 

The familiar tavern came into view as the pair rounded the corner, despite her usual feeling of home from this place Olathia couldn't help but linger on the apprehension in the pit of her stomach. Would they even recognize her? Jade eyes peered down at her new attire and a hand rested on the hilt of her new sword. Everything had changed, not just because of the war at hand, nor her still mending heart, everything seemed....odd.

I am a Subtlety Rogue but actually I try to be honest when I can. It is disarming to my enemies who expect nothing but trickery and lies. My mother taught me to be honest rather than fearsome. Yet like I have said there are times when lying or misdirection is the better option. What is true and what is fantasy? Does it matter?

I try to treat all combat encounters like a highly elaborate game. Place yourself like pieces on a board and move appropriately. Predict your enemies' strategies and call them out in public to intimidate them. And lie always with your stances, movements and attacks. That is where my class mostly comes into play.

In personal dealings or remembering myself I try to be honest. It does not do to lie to yourself....

Our family structure is very rigid. Males occupy the warrior, chef and caligraphy arts. While females are homemakers, assassins, con artists and defenders of our territory on Shen-zin Su. Because I was exiled my father stopped speaking to me entirely. He was getting on in age anyways so I do not need him, right?

My mother still lives though she does not communicate with me either? Is she... ashamed of me or something? My grandmother who was a wizened old rogue died and was buried on our ancestral burial grounds.

I am a Shen-zin Su Pandaren. That means I was born on the back of a giant sea turtle. I grew up hearing legends that everyone... in my small town were connected in some way. Not spiritually necessarily more like: We know little things about their lives from seeing them and chatting, if they have done work in town, if they like us or dislike us? So I felt at home in that community. Then: I was homeless for a while at least twice. To survive I had to learn how to be charming at least temporarily, and I was forced to leave Shen-zin Su. I asked him: "Why did my people force me to leave my only home?"
