After living in that apartment that the Vicar had so graciously allowed her to reside in, Veli and her father decided that it was high time that they found a place of their own. As much as she would want to be there constantly, she knew her duties to Anore took precedence over wasting her life away with worry that something may happen again with her father.
The two of them had spent weeks deciding the perfect spot. He knew of how much she adored the pandaren lands so somewhere that was out of the way enough that should something happen people would be well protected, but close enough to civilization that she could easily bring supplies in and check on him. Fortunately enough the house that they had found had some help that came with. Bolo would often come in and check on Quris and after a while they actually became fairly good friends, and even assisted in their moving up there.
All of the packing of boxes and finding a moving company along with getting everything settled in their new home took several weeks. Veli had often felt like she shouldn’t keep people within the group wondering what hole she had climbed into so as soon as they got a load moved she would often leave and take some time away with her other family. She would tell her father that she wanted to go and find some air. There was also another feeling of needing to return there, too. Feeling like she was being led back to fairbreeze and all of the events that had happened in her life was bringing her to these days, and to meet this one person.
At the very end of when she was getting everything up to the monastery she had come back and was walking around speaking to people about things, she had noticed there was a new person residing with them now. She had found him while he was speaking to her close friend, Kel and she could see the sadness in his eyes as clear as day . Even though he was smiling and laughing, there was a burden he was bearing that was unmistakable to her. She knew something had led her to him, and knew that no matter where these days led, she felt like her goal was to be to help him. They had started to talk very quickly, and Veli felt a great desire to spend any moment she had with him and as soon as he was gone from her side, she was longing to speak to him even more. Not long after that her father had been able to notice that she was stealing herself away more and more.
After several weeks she had finally got the nerve to tell him that she felt like she didn’t have to be afraid to bare her soul to him and she had. She told the man about everything, about what had happened with him, about her studies, and who they were under, about everything and it all felt right, and her commitment and adoration for him only made her stronger. Finally after talking about him and Veli felt as giddy as ever, she had the strange sensation to return to the village, not knowing what happened next but as long as she had the love of her family and was able to be strengthened by her beloved’s presence, she would do anything in her power to protect everyone she had revered as her family
