Several days had passed until she finally approached the Vicar and she stood before him doing what she could to tell him what all was going on, and where exactly she had been. She told him about how she finally figured out what had happened to her father, how she had felt when he grabbed a hold of her and that the overwhelming presence she felt was some sort of demonic possession. They had started down the royal exchange after speaking with another within the hospital for some time and her mind kept on returning to something that her mind kept repeating to her. How in the world could she not have seen it years ago?
Then, as she stood there before this demon, this monster that her father had become and her heart sank. She felt the guilt overwhelm her and the demon knew it. He kept on spouting words that it needed her to hear and ultimately feel. She heard the Vicar shouting. She could somewhat comprehend them but it was like they flew right past her. She had to make this right, no matter the cost and she felt this demons words sink into her, wounding her soul. After his attacks she actually heard the Vicar speak and she snapped back at him, and instantaneously her heart sank again. This man, this good man, he was just trying to help her. He was trying to save her father and all she could do was berate him. All of her efforts were lost as she sunk to the floor and started sobbing into her hands. After that, everything was a blur for Veli.

The demon couldn’t help but sneer at the poor pathetic child. It was seething in anger with hatred for these mortals who were attempting to eradicate it from it’s vessel and continued to spout words of cruelty towards the pathetic little wretch that was cowering before it. The demon then did everything in it’s power to fight back against the restraints and to maintain control over this pathetic little Sin'dorei. It heard the words the Vicar was saying but as time went by it was losing control and all it could do to maintain the grip it had on this man was just to grunt out responses, but then something odd happened. The man was actually fighting back. It didn’t expect this and as the Vicar had somehow cut the tie to the nether, the only thing it could do was slip away and let go of the man. Finally allowing Quris to breathe.

Quris, after what seemed to be the fight of his entire life finally awakens. He opens his eyes and hears the Vicar speaking but everything seems like his head is in a funnel. He looks at Veonarus and sees that he is talking but it’s like Veo had just come out from a peanuts movie, and he is talking like one of the adults there. Finally after what seems like an eternity and noticing the restraints that were holding him in place he finally is able to hear the man before him. The Vicar is speaking and calling him by name, but everything is so confusing that Quris’s head starts to spin. He doesn’t even see the young girl who is sobbing in the background until Veo points her out. He hears how she is overwrought and the restraints are loosened and he is allowed down to embrace the woman he always called his little chickadee. His heart is breaking for his little girl and after finding out that he had been possessed all of those years and that he had hurt her, his soul felt wounded all over again. All of this pain that the demon had caused, and all of the heartache that Veli must be feeling right now, he knew that he had to do all he could to make it right and would strive to live for the rest of his life for her and to help her through this.
