Braghaman was walked up the road from Darkshire on his way home. He had just passed the gryphons when he heard a voice calling to him.
“Brother Larethian.”
Stopping in the middle of the road and turning around, he saw a priestess in white robes stepping onto the road.
“Sister Anetta,” Braghaman said with a bow. “What brings you to Darkshire?”
“The Church sent me here, that there was someone who needed to speak with me. And what of you brother? Are you back from the war?”
“I am, sister.”
“Will you be returning to your work in Stormwind, then?”
“That is still being negotiated, but I think that I will be continuing my work here.”
“Well, I hope that the Light will bless your endeavors, brother. Now, I am afraid that I am keeping others waiting. Please stop by the abbey so that we can catch up. I know Brother Sammuel would like to see you again.”
“I will come by in the near future. Safe travels, sister.”
“And may the Light travel with you, brother.”
The two bowed to each other before parting, the paladin heading away from town while the priestess moved towards. Soon, she found herself climbing the stairs to the town hall and stepping inside. After looking around for a moment, the priestess saw a member of the local militia walking in her direction.
“Excuse me. Could you please direct me to the captain of the Nightwatch? I was asked to come here to speak with a young lady.”
Paynifier's response is pretty great -- I love how the town feels real and settled. It's not simply about a character, it's about a town and the variety of stories happening there.
A Braghaman cameo in a Darkshire story! Yay! :D
