Truce?

“I said I was sorry…you could stop glaring at me.” He sighed as Savage flopped down in front of him, the glare continuing despite Cibor taking the opportunity to climb all over the larger tiger. “…Or not, that’s fine too…”

The return to Silvermoon hadn’t been as awful as he’d originally thought it was going to be. There hadn’t been quite as many jarring motions, though he could honestly say that it wouldn’t hurt people to maybe look up every once in a while. The number of side-steps he’d made to avoid having someone plow into his shoulder had been a bit frustrating…to say the least. Unfortunately, it was just as he’d made the final turn towards Andivia’s apartment complex that he’d missed another individual rounding the corner…only to have that individual clip the wounded shoulder. A hiss, some muttered words, and he hurried towards the safe haven of the apartment.

The reception he’d received had been expected on some levels. Andivia had ushered him in, sat him down, and gone to work on changing the few dressings left on the shoulder. Cibor had been eager to attempt to climb up onto his lap, while the twins had played nearby. Savage…had not been pleased. After making sure that the ranger was ‘okay’, the tiger had huffed, moving to lay across the room, and glaring…a glare that had not let up for the last day.

He reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose with his good hand before easing off his seat and sitting in front of the tiger. “Look. You’re irritated with me, got it. But I came back. And I don’t plan on leaving without you again, alright? Just have to make sure Cibor isn’t going to tear the apartment to shreds first…” He held his hand out. “…Truce?” Savage paused, eyeing the hand for a moment before huffing and then gently nudging the outstretched hand. “Good…because I’m not leaving this apartment without you…” He winced as he pulled himself back up onto his seat. “I need a buffer between me and other people…well, between my shoulder and other people…”
